Hello PPL.

Here is my 2 cent Advance Look on the big picture of Conky.
I will say that ,Conky is not so clean as you ppl think!!!
I can say this to you all ,Conky can be wide open with PHP back port!
what that said?
it say that The Builder of the system can open PHP back port on the system
to use it for update/upgrade even if the user do not want to send the system info.
and why is that?
well,system needs to be upgrade/fixed/ & so on.
If the user do not send the system info then how the system will send update/upgrade?
BTW - all the process works from your terminal - what says that you can not stop the process of the collecting info on the system.

My Advice here to you all is to use Different software to make the same work like Conky.
The software called - GKrellm .

Yes this is what I say exactly.
it is very NIX to make it ,
and we have test that and again yes it is correct!
well you can see on the net that I have said that few times on other forums.
I WILL NOT SAY with what system the test was made on,
I will say that was done in %100 sure it works from the connection to the user root terminal.

the DEV can log in to the user system with no need of pass or anything.

So yes KD,
when you change the the way you collect system info from the end user machine for dev fix,update,upgrade and so on,
Then if the Dev open back door to the Conkey to use the collecting system info there you go = the open post will let you in from the terminal to the user " open info "!!!
This is why I say to you and for the safe of the TinyMe users to use the software that I have sagest that it is safe in %100 to use.

It sounds like you need to log a bug report with the Conky developers.

well no KD this is not bug this is NIX's work that open the back door for the DEV.
in the same way that the PHP Build in Advanced the back ports to be open for him.
And the only reason that I have let you and the user know about it is because ppl can make use of it - like all the scrips boys and so on.

you see , I do not add the Conkey software on any of my Remixes for the systems never after I know the facts about Conkey.
