testing RC-2010.08.20
First let me say a big Thank You for this new release, it's pretty awesome Happy

From the login screen, F5 Suspend, F6 Reboot, F7 Halt seem to do nothing.

In order to use the nouveau driver, I had to edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf and comment out the line:

Disable "dri"

This is a known issue and there was supposed to be a fix coming, not sure if we missed it:

I realize this is more to do with the Unity base but posting it here anyway in case other users have the same issue with nouveau...

I'd like to drop nitrogen from my install and just use pcmanfm to control the desktop icons/wallpaper... where can I change that in the config?

Thanks again for a very nice release!

You're supposed to type in the root password. The problem is that the LiveCD, at the end of the poweroff process, wants you to hit Enter to eject the LiveCD. However, you don't see that because for some odd reason, the bootsplash doesn't come up when you power off from the SLiM screen.

Just open ~/.config/openbox/autostart.sh, comment out nitrogen, and uncomment pcmanfm. Now open PCManFM and go to Edit--> Preferences--> Desktop--> check all 3 boxes.

Explain a bit better for us old guys, do you mean press a function key of your choice and then enter the root pwd?
