Can (almost) connect to wireless network
I have a TinyMe 2010, I believe, installation, and I have gotten a network card to work by follow the first half of these steps: http://tinymelinux.com/forum/thread-865.html and then using the wizard for it (I basically just re-installed ndiswrapper.)
However, it fails to connect. We are an encrypted access-point network, however, type choices consist of Ad-hoc, Master, Repeater, Secondary, and Auto. Furthermore, these always revert to master. Should I use the 'force using key as ASCII' option? I really don't know where to go from here. Thanks... |

RE: Can (almost) connect to wireless network
What kind of encryption and what is your wireless card?

RE: Can (almost) connect to wireless network
Belkin F7D2101 v1 trying to talk to an OpenWEP encryption. Detects but cannot connect to network, as before.
However, I have made a mistake: it always reverts to MANAGED (which is on that list), not master, sorry about that. Thanks again... |

RE: Can (almost) connect to wireless network
I don't mean to be a pain in the neck, but, that dropdown box seems to do nothing to change the setting - it stays 'managed' in the list and in the 'configure' screen. I am using a router. I'm not sure whats wrong, but I don't think my adapter existed on any of the lists (working, mabye working, not working) on the ndiswrapper wiki (although at least some of the product line did?). Could I possibly try a different version of TinyMe?
Should I simply retry the solution from that first post from the top and bypass the wizard completely? (I'll try that as soon as I get a chance...) I was using the XP driver... should I say, use the Windows 2000 Driver? Open to suggestions. And thanks once again for anything you can give me... |

RE: Can (almost) connect to wireless network
Sorry, but at this point there is no "other version" of TinyMe available, and I am fresh out of ideas. Hope you find something to get it working.
