Smart Package Manager completely broken
Smart Package Manager isn't listing anything uninstalled. I tested this by removing abiword, and now I have no way of re-installing abiword. It doesn't show up in the list or when I do a search. "Hide Uninstalled Packages" is unchecked.

There was another link in the menu for "install with smart package manager" but that just blinks a few message boxes before doing nothing.

How do I install synaptic or any other command line tool that lets me sideload RPM packages?

RE: Smart Package Manager completely broken
I've worked with both Synaptic and Smart, and Smart is light years ahead of Synaptic, plus Smart is currently being developed, whereas Synaptic for RPM is dead. Synaptic is not available for TinyMe 2010+ anyway.

Sounds like you need to refresh the package lists. Click on the left-most button of the toolbar or go to File--> Update Channels.

RE: Smart Package Manager completely broken
I was told Yum also works perfectly on Tinyme if you prefer this tool.
