I guess you are running Windows now then. If that is the case you may as well just delete Synergy-installer as it it won't run on Windows.

If by chance you are running some version of linux then what is it you are running? Any Red Hat or Mandriva dirirative uses RPM packages but Debian based distros and many others don't. If you are perchance running linux the let us know which distro you are using and maybe we can help further.

Every now and then, the arrogance of the Linux community comes back to stun me, and reminds me how little I know as to WHY OH WHY do people even bother fight trying to come over to Linux!

When the first TinyMe2010 was released as a RC1, that told me it was beyond Alpha, beyond Beta, and pretty close to OK (the fact it wasn't the case is a moot point right now).

If Linux were only for geeks, we wouldn't need distros would we now, Richard, not even yours, for that matter. We could just all build it from scratch, and no one would be bothering building stuff for the masses and trying to offer something better than windoze.

The fact that the level of your instructions, and my level of experience, are a mismatch, doesn't mean that either of us shouldn't be here. It just means that I'll wait for the fix of TinyMe2010's respin and happily give it another try then, as will others who are in the demographics as to who this is targeted at.

Possibly a fair comment on my comments. However it's not arrogance but frustration at people who make assertions then can'/won't back them up with facts, then won't answer questions that have been asked in order to try to help.

Please forgive me. I think this all started with a ridiculous misunderstanding. I thought your suggestion was pointed at myself expecting me to do it, as I brought up the problem, but I now realize that your original installer suggestion was pointed at KDulcimer.
