update removes icons and functions

I installed TM the other day ( unity based version ) and after a smart update; smart upgrade it wouldnt turn off computer from menu, but would from terminal, no biggie. but a install of it on a imb thinkpad t20 for media PC purposes, the upgrade took out all the icons on the desktop and taskbar. Is this a known bug? Any ideas?

That's a known irritant, same thing happened to me when trying to upgrade from Unity rc1 to rc2. There have been some default theme changes, including the icons. The Unity team are very close to getting the first final release out, and I'm sure KDulcimer will have a TinyMe release out shortly afterward. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Yeah, I'm sorry to say that for the next release of TinyMe I'll be starting over from the Unity release. I've had too many reports of "This works with Unity, but not with TinyMe."
