No browser with Droplet
Droplet is one of two distros that work with my Broadcom 4306 wifi card. I like it better than the other (Vector). Nice work, developers!
However, I do not seem to have any browser with Droplet, and many basic packages are not being loaded (possibly because there's no browser). So I can't simply download a browser (from another computer) and install it offline. And all the portable browsers I've seen have some dependencies that are not met with my current setup. Even hv3-something, which claims to have "no dependencies," requires sharing a library that doesn't exist. Can anyone suggest a solution for me? I can't get my wifi working with Acorn, so that's not an option. Thanks! |

RE: No browser with Droplet
Sorry, Droplet 2008 is based on the old PCLinuxOS-based series and I can't provide support for it, nor can you install programs for it or update it.

RE: No browser with Droplet
Are there still plans to offer the Droplet version of Tinyme? I can understand if you are waiting for the Stable release before even beginning work on it, but I am curious to know whether this will be offered in the future.
