RC-1 on Acer Aspire one
945 chipset with onboard WIFI.
I need help with the wifi setup. On Unity everything is recognized and I have no problems connecting. With TinyMe it does not detect the wifi. If you could help I would appreciate it as I would really like to get TinyMe on this netbook. Currently I dual boot 7 and Unity. Thank you, Paul |

RE: RC-1 on Acer Aspire one
That's funny, I put RC1 on an Aspire One a few days ago and it picked up the wireless and connected with no issue. What model do you have?
I did notice that the light to indicate whether the wireless was on or off didn't seem to work. Please check the Release Announcement before reporting any issues! Please read the Usage Rules before posting! Check out the FAQ!

RE: RC-1 on Acer Aspire one
I have a D250-1428 It has a 250G HD
Unity works fine, using it now. In TM I went to CC to look at the hardware and when I clicked "browse hardware" the screen would flash and I would be back at "browse hardware". Paul |

RE: RC-1 on Acer Aspire one
Sigh. I'm getting more and more reports of "This doesn't work in TinyMe, but it works in Unity." It's leaving me wondering if I don't need to drop the current line and rebuild with the latest Unity release.

If it helps I am comfortable using the console but I am very much a noob with Linux. That being said if you want me to try entering command lines just ask and I will do my best. If need be I can even hang out at the Linux Cafe down the street and buy a few rounds of coffee. Paul |
