Change cursor theme
Hi!

I don't like the new, animated cursor theme. How can I change it to something less annoying?

RE: Change cursor theme
I have created an issue on the tracker to include an application in the next release which will allow you to do this. In the meantime, here's a manual method.
  1. Reinstall x11-data-cursor-themes.
  2. Run this command in a terminal. It will give you a list of possible cursor themes:
    Code:
    find /usr/share/icons/ -name cursor* | awk -F/ '{print $5}'
  3. Edit /usr/share/icons/default/index.theme as root and change the Inherits= line to the name of the cursor theme you want to use.
  4. Log out and back in to make the change take effect.

Please check the Release Announcement before reporting any issues!
Please read the Usage Rules before posting!
Check out the FAQ!
