oh, it never occurred to me that you didn't have a network connection setup (since you didn't get to the desktop). LAN connections should be automatic (no setup) so if you have one you might be able to download the package.

I'm sorry I can't help any more. I am not sure what is KDulcimer's schedule for the next test release. I guess you have better wait for that one.
