Sound card not working
I have installed TinyMe all seems well but my sound card is not working, when i run alsaconf it runs through fine. But when i go in to PCLinux Control Center and go into hardware find the sound card and click on the run config tool i get the message Error: The "snd_intel8x0" driver for your sound card is unlisted. Not sure what else to try. I have a lenovo T41 and the sound card is a intel8x0

Re: Sound card not working
Once you've run alsaconf, you shouldn't have to look at the PCLinuxOS Control Center. What program are you trying to use to play sound?

Re: Sound card not working
Honestly, I'm not sure what going on there, and you may be up a crick without a paddle because TinyMe cannot be upgraded due to some updates upstream at PCLinuxOS. I'm working on our new Unity-based release, but I can't guarantee you when that'll go stable. You might try Puppy Linux in the meantime, or the PCLinuxOS LXDE release.
