Another install problem
Hi all. I'm not new to Linux, but I'm new to Tiny Me after using PCLOS on my bigger machine for about 4 years now.

I'm currently trying to install Tiny Me on an old Dell Inspiron 510m/6Gig HD/512 RAM/1.6GhZ chip.

All goes well apart from the fact that it stops at "local host login"

I'm probably just having a dumb moment, but is it waiting for input from me? If so then what? I typed "root" then "root" again for the password, but it just went to another line instead of booting into the desktop.

I've had Mint and Ubuntu on the laptop recently, so I know it works fine. I just wanted a smaller-footprint distro.

cheers for any help.

Paul

Re: Another install problem
When you boot up, try one of the other boot-up options. It should be something like "Video Safe Mode".
