feasibility check: TinyMe remaster for TC1000 tablet PCs?
Hi all,

I've been playing with my compaq TC1000 tablet PC for a few months now, various distros, various levels of success and/or satisfaction..
TinyMe is by far my favourite, but I've not yet got the pen, screen rotation, extra buttons etc done - not that I can't, I just haven't devoted any time to it yet.  I'm keen to see how the 2009 version of TinyMe materialises, as I've read a few rumblings about hibernate/suspend support (true?).

Anyway, my question: is it possible/feasible to remaster TinyMe to provide out-of-the-box support for the TC1000 (and other tablets, I guess)?  Features would be:
- Pen support via fpi2002 driver
- Screen rotation
- Suspend/Hibernate
- Custom key mapping
- CPU scaling (longrun - transmeta crusoe)
- various tablet apps ala Xournal, xvkbd

Are there any other TC1000 owners interested in helping/testing/etc on a remaster?

Cheers,
Brett
