numlock issue
There are a number of places in the forum dealing with the "NumLk-numlock" issue (2008.1). Would be nice to have them all in one location. And now for the first time it will be posted in the "General Discussion" forum. Can you make this a sticky if it proves to work? On another note, maybe the forum can contain a separate section for both 2008.0 and 2008.1?
The workaround that resolved my issue was "at the login screen, switch to a terminal, Ctrl-Alt-F(whatever), then back to F7" and the annoying little numlock disappears. May not work in all installations, but it did work on both T22 and T23 laptop installations.
Hope it helps someone else.
Ciao
Bob

Re: numlock issue
I will leave it to KD to stick it if he thinks , but I will move it to tips and tricks.

There are no contests in the Art of Peace. A true warrior is invincible because he or she contests with nothing. Defeat means to defeat the mind of contention that we harbor within.
